I decided to make my own candied jalapeños because I didn’t like the ingredients of the store bought jars. This was so easy and delicious!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup apple cider vinegar

1 cup coconut sugar or maple syrup

.5 teaspoon turmeric
-
.5 teaspoon celery seed

1 tablespoon granulated garlic

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

8-10 jalapeños, sliced
METHOD
Combine apple cider vinegar, sugar and spices in a pot. Bring to a boil.
Add sliced jalapeños. Simmer for five minutes.
Strain sliced jalapeños into a glass container.
Continue cooking the liquid until it has reduced by half. Pour over jalapeños.
