I began my professional food journey as an ABA therapist for children with Autism. A few of my students experienced transformational results with a gluten and casein free diet, yet struggled to find a variety of delicious food that they could eat. I had always loved food, and had experience as a bread baker and private events cook for Disneyland, so I decided to attend the Culinary Institute of America, Greystone to learn how to create options for people like my students!
After culinary school I worked as a pastry chef for Michelin starred restaurants in San Francisco and Napa. During this time I became aware of my own health issues. As I researched the nutrition and science behind ingredients, I decided to leave restaurants and begin a personal cheffing business for busy families and professionals who had very specific dietary restrictions and health goals.It has officially been ten years of personal cheffing for my wonderful clients!
My food philosophy remains the same regardless of who I am cooking for: organic produce, dairy from pasture raised animals, pasture raised eggs, wild caught fish and seafood, and meat from regenerative farms. No gluten, soy, beans, legumes, chemicals, additives, artificial ingredients, gums, etc... just the best quality ingredients I can get my hands. I believe that eating healthy doesn't mean restrictive - there is SO MUCH variety and healing inreal, whole food!
