Once you make this Healthy Homemade Mayo, you'll never go back to store bought!
I used to always buy Primal Kitchen Mayo (it’s my favorite store bought option!), but remembered how easy it is to make myself when I recently ran out. INGREDIENTS
- .75 cup avocado oil
- 1 each egg
- .5 each juiced lemon
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1 pinch of sea salt
METHOD
- Add all ingredients to a glass container and blend with an immersion blender. You can use a food processor, but you'll have to slowly add the oil into the mixture
- Once it’s all emulsified, do a taste test to see if it needs more acidity or salt — usually it’s salt
- Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
