Once you make this Healthy Homemade Mayo, you'll never go back to store bought!
I used to always buy Primal Kitchen Mayo (it’s my favorite store bought option!), but remembered how easy it is to make myself when I recently ran out. I love this because it’s fast, affordable, and made with the same quality ingredients. I never have to add it to my grocery list again.
INGREDIENTS
.75 cup avocado oil
1 each egg
.5 each juiced lemon
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 pinch of sea salt
METHOD
Add all ingredients to a glass container and blend with an immersion blender. You can use a food processor, but you'll have to slowly add the oil into the mixture
Once it’s all emulsified, do a taste test to see if it needs more acidity or salt — usually it’s salt
